Wisner, LA – Motorcycle Wreck On Calhoun Rd & Furr Rd Takes Life of Rider

Wisner, LA (June 3, 2019) – Louisiana State Police have reported that a motorcycle accident has taken the life of a man on Sunday, May 26^th. The time of the crash was not reported but stated to have occurred in the afternoon. The crash site was at the intersection of both Calhoun Road and Furr Road.

The driver was 43-year-old Wesley Meadows, who was operating a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Meadows veered off the roadway, striking a ditch embankment near the road.

The Franklin Parish Coroner’s Office pronounced Meadows dead at the scene of the wreck. It is unknown at this time if intoxication played a part in the accident, as the case is still under active investigation.
