West Baton Rouge Parish, LA – Passenger Injury In Collision With Horse On LA-415

West Baton Rouge Parish, LA (July 14, 2019) – Reports from the Louisiana State Police indicate that a horse was killed and a passenger injured in a crash on LA-415 in West Baton Rouge Parish. The incident took place on Tuesday, July 9^th. 

Police officials report that the crash involved an older model Chevy Tahoe that was traveling south on LA-415 and two horseback riders traveling in the same direction.  

The Tahoe struck one of the horses traveling southbound. It isn’t known if the horses were on the roadway at the time of the accident. 

The passenger riding in the front of the Tahoe sustained injuries in the incident. Fortunately, the rider of the horse was uninjured. 

No other information has been released on the accident at this time.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
