Port Allen, LA – 2 Horseback Riders Injured In Wreck With Pickup On LA-620

Port Allen, LA (June 23, 2019) – Investigators have confirmed that two people were on horseback were seriously injured in a wreck after they struck by a truck as they were riding on LA-620 on June 22. 

The two people were traveling on horseback when they were suddenly struck by a passing pickup truck on Saturday evening on LA-620.  

Both of the riders were transported to local medical facilities for treatment of their serious injuries following the crash. The horses reportedly died in the accident and it is not known if the driver of the truck sustained injuries at this time.

The crash is currently under investigation.
