Shreveport, LA – Pedestrian Killed By Train Near Jane Lane

Shreveport, LA (July 11, 2019) – In the afternoon of Thursday, July 11th, a man died after being hit by a train in the Shreveport area.

Based on the report issued by local police, the male victim had been walking in an area near Janet Lane when an oncoming train hit him. The incident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. in the afternoon.

Authorities have not revealed any information about the victim’s identity at this time, pending family notification. Officers have confirmed that he had been accompanied by another man when the train wreck took place.

Police did not indicate if anyone on the train sustained injuries in this incident.
