Shreveport, LA – Motorcycle Accident On LA-1 At I-220

Shreveport, LA (August 15, 2019) – In the afternoon of Tuesday, August 13th a crash was reported involving two vehicles in N Shreveport. The Shreveport Police Department reported to the accident to provide aid and start an investigation into the collision. The incident took place on LA-1, also known as N Market Street, near Interstate 220. 

Reports confirmed that the crash involved a motorcycle and a Dodge pickup truck. Authorities were notified of the crash at around noon. Reports from authorities at the scene claim that officials found a turned over motorcycle and a damaged pickup. The extent of the resulting injuries is unknown at this time. 

The crash is under investigation by the Louisiana State Police. More details will be released as the investigation continues. Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
