Pineville, LA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Cottingham Expressway

Pineville, LA (June 26, 2019) – The Pineville Police Department arrived at the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident that took place on the Cottingham Expressway on Tuesday afternoon.

65-year-old Gary Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene of the accident around 4:09 p.m., where they found that Lewis had been struck by a vehicle in the southbound lanes of the highway.

The next-of-kin has since been notified and police continue their investigation of the accident.
