New Orleans, LA – Injuries Sustained In Collision On I-10 At N Claiborne Ave

New Orleans, LA (July 10, 2019) – On Wednesday afternoon, July 10^th, police, and paramedics were summoned to the scene of a motor vehicle collision that resulted in injuries. The accident occurred at 12:01 p.m. on Interstate  10, near N Clairborne Avenue.

Emergency medical professionals arrived at the scene along the eastbound lanes of the interstate at North Claiborne Avenue to assist the injured victims. The cause of the crash has not been reported but paramedics treated at least one person who suffered injuries. The extent of those injuries has not been made public.

Police are presently conducting a detailed investigation into the events that led to this incident, which is believed to have included no more than two vehicles at this time. Traffic was backed up from the Dome to the North Claiborne exit but no further information has been provided.
