Natchitoches, LA – Woman Killed in Fatal Crash on Interstate 49

Natchitoches, LA (June 12, 2019) – Police revealed that on June 9 around 7:30 p.m., a woman tragically lost her life in a fatal crash that took place on Interstate 49 in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

The accident took place when a woman was driving northbound on I-49 when she experienced tire failure on her vehicle. She oversteered the vehicle to bring it to a stop, which caused her to lose control. Her vehicle then collided with a guardrail and rolled over.

The woman, identified as 52-year-old Delisa Horn, was ejected during the crash and sustained severe injuries. She was immediately taken to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

Louisiana State Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
