Livingston, LA – Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Pedestrians on I-12

Livingston, LA (August 7, 2019) – On August 3 around 6 p.m., police responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash involving pedestrians on the side of I-12.

At the scene of the accident, police confirmed that a Greyhound charter bus sideswiped a railing on the road, causing other collisions to take place as a result.

One vehicle that was involved in the collision stopped in the median. The occupants of the vehicle stood in the median so that they could wait for emergency responders to arrive. However, while waiting, another collision took place that sent a vehicle flying into the pedestrians.

Six people in total were taken to the hospital. Two of those people were occupants of the bus and the other parties were the pedestrians from the vehicle in the median. Police did not confirm the severity of the injuries sustained by those involved.

Investigations into the accident continue at this time.
