Lake Charles, LA – Man Killed in Head-On Wreck On Mark LeBleu Rd near Pujol Rd

Lake Charles, LA (June 1, 2019) – Reports have confirmed that a man has passed as the direct result of a serious car wreck. The wreck itself took place on Mark LeBleu Rd near Pujol Rd around 6:00 p.m. according to officials. The wreck happened on Thursday, May 23^rd.

The deceased, 40-year-old Jerimy W. Williams, driving his car west on Mark LeBleu Rd. when he veered into the center of the road, striking an oncoming pickup truck headed east on the roadway.

Williams was taken to a nearby medical facility, where he later succumbed to his injuries.  It is unclear if the driver of the pickup truck sustained injuries in the crash.

The investigation into the wreck is still underway.
