Lafayette, LA – Bicycle Crash Injury At Louisiana Ave & E Foch St

Lafayette, LA (August 26, 2019) – Lafayette police officials were at the scene of a crash in Lafayette late Sunday evening, August 25 around 9:24 p.m. The crash took place at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and E Foch Street and involved a bicycle and a motorcycle. 

The crash resulted in the cyclist being struck by the motorcyclist and sustaining injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment following the accident. The identity of the victim has not been released.

The driver of the motorcycle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
