Garyville, LA – Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident Along Airline Highway

Garyville, LA (June 12, 2019) – On Wednesday morning, a man from Gramercy was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place along the Airline Highway in Grayville.

The Louisiana State Police claimed that the crash took the life of 28-year-old Dexton A. Brown. Police say that an unknown vehicle had been traveling southbound on the highway while Brown was walking southbound in the left lane of the highway.

The driver struck Brown and then promptly fled the scene of the accident without stopping to check on him. When a coroner arrived at the scene, they pronounced Brown deceased.

The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
