Lattimore will receiver the Jerry Richardson Community MVP Award.
Fisher DeBerry, a South Carolina native and Hall of Fame former head football coach at the Air Force Academy, hosts the event through the Fisher DeBerry Foundation, which assists children of single parent families.
Football coaches from around the state come together for the event, all in the name of charity. The participating coaches are Steve Spurrier (South Carolina), Dabo Swinney (Clemson), Mike Ayers (Wofford), Bruce Fowler (Furman), Mike Houston (Citadel) and Buddy Pough (South Carolina State).
Each coach chooses a charity that benefits from his participation.
“All Gamecocks are thankful to Marcus Lattimore for helping our football program become a Top 10 one,” said USC coach Steve Spurrier. “We are also very appreciative for what Marcus is doing now to help so many young men and women to get their priorities of life in the right order. He joins Dylan Thompson as two former Gamecock players that are honored with this recognition.”

Tables and individual tickets are available for purchase. The more tickets and tables purchased by fans of each school, the more money that will go towards that particular coach’s charity.
