East Baton Rouge, LA (July 2, 2019) – Police units and emergency responders were at the scene of a wreck at the intersection of Greenwell Springs Road and Monterrey Drive. The accident happened on Tuesday, June 2^nd, and at 2:53 p.m., news sources confirmed that the crash resulted in sustained injuries of involved parties. 

EMS was there to render aid to victims injured in the crash in the aftermath of the accident. The current status of injured victims was not reported. Any debris was cleared from the roadway to curb congestion caused by the crash. 

Police officials are currently investigating the cause of the crash at this time.
