Dubach, LA – Man Killed in Fatal Car Accident on US Highway 167

Dubach, LA (July 24, 2019) – Around 1:00 p.m. on July 20^th, police responded to the scene of a fatal car accident that took place on US Highway 167 and took the life of one individual.

The man has since been identified as 87-year-old Charles May, of Dubach. Upon investigation, police found that May had been traveling south on the highway in a 2006 Buick when he suddenly traveled off the side of the road and down an embankment. His vehicle rolled several times.

May was ejected from his vehicle and was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police are not sure of the exact circumstances of the accident and continue their investigation at this time.
