Baton Rouge, LA (August 2, 2019) – On the afternoon of August 2, 2019, a local news source confirmed that a major traffic accident occurred in the Baton Rouge area.

The wreck occurred along the junction of Essen Lane and United Plaza Boulevard in the late morning around 11:00 AM. After the accident, fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the scene to render aid to the victims. Crews shut down the two north lanes of Essen in order to treat and transport those that were injured and clear debris from the streets.
