Baton Rouge, LA – Injury Wreck Reported At Perkins Rd & Madeira Dr

Baton Rouge, LA (August 5, 2019) – Local news reports indicate that there was a wreck in the Baton Rouge area at approximately 12:42 p.m. on Monday, August 5th. The accident happened at the intersection of Perkins Rd. & Madeira Dr., just north of Bluebonnet Blvd. 

Baton Rouge Police, Fire, and EMS were called to the scene of the wreck to assist the injured victims of the crash.  Initial reports indicate that the crash resulted in the injury to at least one person involved. The identities of the injured victims were not released. 

Local police officials responded to the scene to investigate the accident and gather more details. Paramedics were on-site to evaluate the injured parties and provide medical treatment.

Authorities have not disclosed the nature or severity of the victim’s injuries that resulted from this crash.

An investigation is being conducted by local officials into the cause of the collision.
