New Orleans, LA – Accident Reported On I-10 Near Elysian Fields Ave

New Orleans, LA (July 7, 2019) – An accident was reported on Friday, July 5^th, by local news sources around 1:17 p.m. The crash occurred on Interstate 10 near the intersection with Elysian Fields Ave. in New Orleans. 

The accident caused significant congestion on the roadways. Emergency response units were called to the scene in order to render aid to those involved and clear the roadway of any debris.

Interstate 10 was cleared of wreckage at 1:24 p.m., reducing congestion to a minimum.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown and under investigation by local police officials.
