Covington, LA – Injuries Reported After Crash On I-12 Near Mile Marker 62

Covington, LA (June 27, 2019) – A local news source confirmed that an injury accident occurred along Interstate 12 West at mile marker 61 on Thursday, June 27^th.

According to the initial report, the accident took place along I-12, in the vicinity of US 190 in the Covington area, a little before 10:02 a.m.

Authorities confirmed that injuries were sustained as a result of the impact. Paramedics were on scene to render aid to the parties who sustained injuries in this collision.

Later, around 12:28 p.m., authorities moved the accident scene to the right side of I-12 to open it back up to traffic.
