Shreveport, LA (June 3, 2019) – The Shreveport Police Department are currently investigating a collision between a cyclist and a motor vehicle. The event took place on Monday, June 3^rd, around 10:20 a.m.

Officials responded to the incident at the intersection of Louisiana and Stoner Avenues. The crash took place in the area within a neighborhood.

The cyclist was transported to Oschners LSU Health for what were deemed life-threatening injuries resulting from the collision.

Reports indicate that the vehicle involved was later found in a nearby ditch.
